My husband got me Bärli this past Christmas after going through the loss of one of my most beloved pets.


I've always wanted an english lab, I love everything about how they look and act.

Bärli is more than I could ever ask for in a pup. He is by far the most calm natured lab I've ever seen, my vet laughs every time I take him for shots because he always falls asleep on the table.

He's an extremely BIG boy! I was advised to cut back his food by my vet and I did but he still has gained a massive amount of weight. My vet said he's simply just a big dog. I get asked on a regular basis if he's a bull mastiff pup and it cracks me up!

I got him when he was just 6 weeks old and he already weighed 12lbs and now at 11 weeks he weighs 27lbs!

He plays a lot but he's just not overly hyper like most labs. He is such a joy to have in our lives and he is helping heal my broken heart a little more every day.

Hi Natash Bali looks beautiful.

I got my wife a golden lab two weeks ago already 9 weeks old and what a pleasure. Within 2 weeks he is already house trained. Only my slippers end up in his bed every night and we have now made a designated digging spot for him in the garden.

Also started him at puppy school which has taught both my wife and I a lot on handling him.

But, truly a joy to have around and fairly bouncy and full of life. What amazed me is how quick he learns, and very protetive.

When the wife and I play wrestle on the grass lawn he climbs straight in to intervene.

I would recomend a lab to anyone.

We lost our yellow lab last Feb.. she was a princess.... everyone always told us how pretty she was.. i could put hats on her and sunglasses.


we got a choclate lab now.. and she is so completley different... she is the most hyper dog I have ever had... we call her a hybred duck dog... but we love her. Just like kids... they are all different...

What a pretty one you have....

your dog is beautiful,due to your comment I was able to understand my lab he is big as well with big floppy ears and paws very calm as well I took him to the pet store the other day and he fell asleep while I was talking to the girl that worked there.

My Max is silver lab with green eyes and he is a great healing dog he is always with me where ever I go I never had a lab. he is now 6 months and weights approx. 60 lbs.

He is also not hyper in which I saw it strange for a lab he doesn't or bites on furniture very calm. I also had a lost it was my exotic bird in which I had for 9 years. and I guess they know your feelings and it gets to the point in which they become your best friend and baby.

I love your dog he is beautiful white or gold is my favorite color. Enjoy him with your comment I realize I have an English Lab. I was always wondering since he looks so different from most of the lab I've come accross.

hi..

you don't know me but we share the same passion for our buddies. i too have a pet american-british lab named buddy.

i empathize with you because my 11 months old lab is likewise a big dog- 35kgs to be precise. our vet told us that he is just about the perfect weight and that he just had compact bones.

But no matter how big he gets, his heart remains soft and loyal to us. dogs are truly the best of friends one can find. he gives love without reservation and shares affection unconditionally.

Your Little Man reminds me so much of my Grizz! He was the same way with his size/weight. At full growth he weighed in at 137 pounds!!

He was very active and just a love-bug. He has been gone now for 2 years ( he was 14 when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge) and I still miss my best friend.

One day I will get another yellow Lab but not for a while yet.

He is calm because you are. All our dogs are calm because my husband is so very calm. He even calms me down! Congrats on being a good dog owner.

Hi ya

We have just recently lost our beautiful black lab at 32mths and now have Gracie who is a lot like this little (ha ha) man.

She is sneaking into my heart day by day and her big sister 11yrs old gold lab Honey loves her to bits.

Those non doggy people just don't know what they are missing.
