My Sweet Boy

Conor is 16 month old male yellow lab. I got him when he was 3 mos. and he saved me.


I had another dog that I lost to cancer and didn't want another dog. Over a year had passed and my son suggested we get a dog. I told him he could but I wasn't ready.

Well he picked the pup out and we went home. After a few hours of trying to not get attached, I fell in love.

He is now my dog and I couldn't be happier. He sleeps with me, we go for walks and even goes to work with me. I work at an emergency animal clinic.

Conor has brought such joy to my like after losing a freind I had for almost 8 years.

can't imagine how to feel love again for another dog after the loss of our Beautiful best friend Gabe- he was only 8 also and we had to put in down 4/12,only after a few days of finding out he had lymphoma that went to his heart.We are still in shock and crying daily. Should we get another dog now or wait? we raised him froma puppy and that is what I am thinking of. What do you suggest?
