normally you breed a labrador bitch from the age of 2yrs so that there bones have fully developed prior to carrying a litter,if it is before 2yrs theres a chance that her bones may not develop properly, from 5 weeks pregnant she should be fed on puppy food as it is of more nutritional value, of which she requires during later stages of pregnancy, to ensure the pups have the best chance in life without joint problems a hip/elbow/eye score test is recommended.
