New mom labs reaction to her puppies
Our lab just had her first litter and after we let her out to go to the bathroom and she returns she goes to the corner of the whelping box and nests. She also steps and tries to sit on the puppies. Is this normal?
It only lasts about 10 to 15 minutes then she relaxes and lays down for them to nurse.
This is our first time with puppies and this doesn't seem to be a normal reaction.
